Adani Power Chimney

Pre Repair Requirement

Chimney Shell concrete repair, Walkway platforms supporting system, Protective Coating on external surface

Chalanges

Excess to full circumference of 275 high chimneys with automatic rope suspended platforms, unprecedented weather condition, limited working hours.

Post Repair

External shell concrete repaired by thixotropic mortars, specially designed hotdip G.I. brackets installation to support walkway platforms, epoxy based phenolic protective coating on full external surface.

Road and River Bridges and Under passes in Ahmedabad City

Pre Repair Requirement

Repairing of various bridge components, piers, abutments, decks, wearing course, drainage systems and parapets

Chalanges

Working in the middle of heavy traffic lines across bridges and under passes. Erection of scaffolding in the mid stuff running traffic.

Post Repair

Core strengthening by epoxy grouting, concrete cover replacement by epoxy and cementitious mortar, structural strengthening by carbon fibre wrapping and laminates anti- carbonation coating, replacement of expansion joints, replacement of drainage systems.

Athal Bridge across river Daman Ganaga at Silvasa

Pre Repair Requirement

Repair of sub structure concrete in piers and abutment, repair of deteriorated concrete of solid deck slab, replacement of wearingose, replacement of footpath.

Chalanges

Continuous high velocity water flowing, rocky bed of river, erection of suspended platforms for deck slab repair.

Post Repair

Deteriorate Concrete  removal of piers and abutment. All piers and abutments jacketing with high strength design concrete full deck slab soffit repaired by thixotropic mortar. Damage Wearing course removed and replaced by mastic asphalt, footpaths refurbished.
